Golden Age of Jazz

Updated: Feb 20, 2021

“Golden age of jazz” is a stylish performance of some of the most popular and beloved songs of Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Rey Charles.

The project refers to the 20s, 30s and 40s of the 20th century when jazz spreads beyond the music industry to become a social phenomenon and the cultural values of a number of generations. “Golden age of jazz” pays recognition to the world’s greatest jazz performers.

”What I am trying to achieve is to make the people smile because the songs I perform are well known and full of positive energy,” explains Marina Gospodinova.

”I sing with an enormous pleasure and I would like the audience to be able to feel this emotion.”

Marina Gospodinova interprets this familiar musical material with an outstanding vocal individuality. Her performances are truly unique giving a new, contemporary sound to well known songs. “Golden age of jazz” is a deep look inside the soul and emotions of jazz music used by the musicians from the quartet as a source of inspiration for their elegant improvisations. They all have their own personal skills, music background and long hours of practise which combine together result in a smooth and original sound of the quartet performances.
